DUEL8 Ball Pool
Duel: 8 Ball Pool

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Duel, including virtual items, purchases, rewards, and online play.

Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Agreement and Apple's terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Frame Sixty Labs LLC (“Frame Sixty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing Duel: 8 Ball Pool, its website, and related services (“Duel”).

By downloading, accessing, or using Duel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Duel. Your license to the iOS or iPadOS app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), unless a different agreement is shown by Apple. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict about the app license, the Apple Standard EULA controls.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Duel. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and approve your use of Duel and any purchase. Duel is not offered as a Kids Category app.

You may use Duel only where it is lawful and only in compliance with these Terms, Apple's rules, and applicable laws.

3. Limited license

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, Frame Sixty grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use Duel on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple's usage rules.

You may not copy, sell, rent, distribute, reverse engineer, bypass security or purchase verification, access non-public systems, create unauthorized derivative works, or use Duel to violate law or another person's rights, except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

4. Game modes and online services

Duel may include Practice, Solo play against house AI, local pass-and-play, and Game Center Online Friendly matches. Game Center authentication and matchmaking are provided by Apple and may require an Apple Account, internet connection, compatible device, and acceptance of Apple's terms.

Online availability, opponent matching, latency, and connection quality are not guaranteed. If matchmaking cannot produce a connected opponent, Duel may clearly offer or identify a house AI alternative. Online Friendly matches do not award cash and currently do not carry virtual-currency stakes or payouts.

5. Player conduct and fair play

You agree not to:

  • cheat, automate play, tamper with physics or saves, exploit bugs, duplicate rewards, manipulate purchases, or interfere with matchmaking;
  • impersonate another person, harass players, transmit malicious code, disrupt service, or attempt unauthorized access;
  • sell, trade, transfer, or broker virtual items, balances, rewards, Game Center access, or app entitlements; or
  • use Duel for commercial gambling, wagering, money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful activity.

We may limit features, invalidate improperly obtained virtual items, suspend online access, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Duel, players, or third parties.

6. Virtual currency, rewards, and items

Duel uses virtual coins, Cue Cash, cosmetic items, cues, characters, passes, rewards, and similar digital content (“Virtual Items”). Virtual Items are licensed, not sold as property. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, are not a bank deposit or stored value, and may not be transferred, traded, sold, or used outside Duel.

Solo venue entry fees and prizes use virtual coins only. There is no real-money wagering or cash-out. Lucky Shot is a skill-based target shot with a fixed prize ladder shown before play. Duel does not offer paid loot boxes, gacha, prize wheels, or randomized paid purchases.

We may adjust prospectively obtainable rewards, pricing, balance, availability, or game economy to maintain fairness, comply with law, or operate Duel. We will not intentionally remove a valid permanent purchase without a refund, revocation, legal requirement, security reason, or violation of these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. In-app purchases

Duel currently offers one-time StoreKit purchases, including consumable coin and Cue Cash packs and non-consumable bundles or passes. Duel does not currently sell auto-renewing subscriptions. The item, grant, and current price are displayed before purchase.

  • Apple processes payment and supplies the verified transaction.
  • All charges, taxes, billing, family approval, refunds, and payment methods are governed by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Permanent non-consumable entitlements can be reconciled using Restore Purchases in the Pro Shop.
  • Consumable purchases are generally not restored by Apple after they have been delivered, although a synced game save may preserve remaining balances.
  • Pending, interrupted, refunded, or revoked transactions may delay, reverse, or remove the associated entitlement. Already-spent consumable currency is not recreated merely because a permanent entitlement is restored.

Purchase problems and refund requests should be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem service or Apple Support. You may also contact us for delivery assistance.

8. Optional rewarded advertising

Some surfaces may offer a clearly labeled, optional rewarded video. Ad availability depends on privacy consent, region, inventory, network, device, remote safety controls, and third-party service availability. You can continue playing without accepting a rewarded ad.

A reward is granted only after the ad provider reports completion and Duel can successfully save the grant. Closing an ad early, loss of connection, verification failure, abuse prevention, or storage failure may prevent a reward. If an earned reward does not appear, contact support with relevant details.

9. Saves, iCloud, and device changes

Duel saves progress on-device and may reconcile a signed game vault through your private iCloud/CloudKit database. Cloud sync is provided for convenience and is not a guaranteed backup service. Conflicting, unavailable, corrupted, deleted, signed-out, or unsupported iCloud states may result in local-only play or require conflict handling.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple Account and device backups. Deleting the app, resetting data, changing Apple Accounts, disabling iCloud, or losing a device can affect local saves and consumable balances.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Duel processes gameplay, purchase, Game Center, iCloud, analytics, advertising, support, and website information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Third-party services

Duel relies on services provided by Apple, Google, TelemetryDeck, Cloudflare, and other infrastructure providers. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party outages, storefront decisions, account restrictions, policy changes, or content outside Duel.

12. Ownership and feedback

Duel, including its software, game systems, artwork, characters, names, logos, audiovisual content, and documentation, is owned by Frame Sixty or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license above.

If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and adapt that feedback without restriction or compensation, while we remain responsible for handling any personal information under our Privacy Policy.

13. Availability, updates, and termination

We may update, rebalance, repair, suspend, or discontinue any part of Duel for operational, legal, security, platform, or product reasons. Updates may be required to continue using online services. We do not guarantee that every feature, reward, advertisement, product, or service will always be available.

You may stop using Duel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for a material or repeated breach, unlawful activity, fraud, security risk, or when required by Apple or law. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUEL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FRAME SIXTY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR LOSS-FREE OPERATION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAME SIXTY AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM DUEL.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to Duel will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Frame Sixty through Duel during the 12 months before the claim or USD $100. This limitation does not apply where prohibited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

16. Disputes and applicable rights

The governing-law and forum provisions in the Apple Standard EULA apply to license-related disputes to the extent applicable. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or a forum that your local law requires. Before filing a claim, please contact support so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Duel, vendors, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. If a material change requires consent, we will request it in an appropriate manner.
